Tile Club is an absolutely superb match-3 game that isn’t necessarily for the players who are looking for a feature-rich and groundbreaking match-3 experience that’ll elevate this genre to new heights and, instead, has been targeted primarily at players who are on the hunt for a classic game that stays true to the roots of the genre and executes the fundamentals with perfection in order to deliver a great game that players will be thoroughly pleased with. Even though the game doesn’t come with anything that could truly be considered out of the box, Tile Club manages to deliver a thoroughly entertaining gameplay experience that should be worth the while of anyone who gives the game a shot.

The gameplay of Tile Club is built around the same tried and true formula that’s defined match-3 games since their inception and has kept them so interesting and enjoyable over the years. Each level of the game comes filled with different objects, or fruits in this case, that players have to match in groups of three or more by swapping the places of adjacent fruits. The matching must be done until the objectives assigned by the levels have been completed but it’s important to remember that you must do so before running out of moves or you’ll have to start the whole level from the beginning.

The top-tier fundamentals of Tile Club are just the beginning, though, because the game has quite a lot else to offer in order to make for a truly worthwhile experience. The level designs in this game are extremely creative so each level feels more interesting and engaging than the last one and, alongside this, Tile Club also comes with many types of power-ups that players can utilize while playing to get some additional assistance and these power-ups are extremely satisfying to use and certainly help bring a ton of depth to the experience.

The graphics of Tile Club aren’t necessarily cutting-edge but, as far as mobile-based match-3 games are concerned, they aren’t that far behind the competition either. The designs of the various in-game fruits are sharp and true to life, the background artwork behind each level is highly detailed, there are loads of buttery smooth animations and flashy special effects to enjoy so, overall, Tile Club is simply a delight to look at.

All things considered, Tile Club is a fantastic match-3 game that should be worth anyone’s while if they choose to try it.
